Kenya Ports Authority AIDS and Drugs Responsive Intervention (KADRI) Project

Since 2019, the Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation (HFG) has been implementing
KADRI Project in Mombasa County. KADRI is funded by JICA and the government of
Kenya (Kenya Ports Authority) through Toyo Construction Company.
KADRI project aims to contribute to reduction of new HIV infections, reduction of AIDS
related deaths and Drug and Substance Abuse (ADSA) related morbidity and mortality
among the general population in Mombasa County with a focus within Kilindini and
Island.
HFG will contributes to reduction of the new infections, AIDS related deaths and ADSA
related morbidity through:

  • Expanding Strategic Social and Behavioral Communication activities to increase
  • HIV and ADSA awareness and healthy behaviors
  • Intensifying HIV Testing Services (HTS) and linkage to HIV services
  • Improving and Expanding care and support for people and families affected by
    HIV and ADSA.
