Shuga is a television drama series designed as public health intervention. It is an innovative mass multi-media behavior change communication initiative with high acceptance and influence nationally and internationally.
It targets youth aged 15-24 Years with Comprehensive HIV prevention information and links them to vital services. It was produced by MTV Networks Africa in association with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, through a partnership with PEPFAR, HFG, PATH and Government of Kenya.
Government of Kenya through NASCOP has approved Shuga as a local Kenyan Evidence Informed Behavioral Intervention.

[vc_column_text]HFG uses the Shuga television drama series as well as print and digital media to communicate messages about HIV prevention to youths of age 15 to 24 and links youth to vital services including, HIV Counselling Testing (HTS), Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) treatment and care.[/vc_column_text]
